... because apparently I should have waited one more day to post on the topic of preschoolers still being into the same things you were into years ago... although I was into this one more like in third or fourth grade or something. Wouldn't have been into that before then even if it WAS popular before then just because it was Too Boy of me...
... but I totally impressed a small group of boys today by not only being able to help them identify each of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (THEY couldn't remember the names) but also explaining that I knew their names because I had, in fact, once spent a lot of time watching/playing Ninja Turtles MYSELF back in the day. They were totally blown away. It was great. Who knew those hours I'd spent in front of the TV and then daydreaming that I was April would help me in my professional life?
Also, because I KNOW you all know that somewhere, in another dimension, he REALLY DOES EXIST, don't forget to peer really hard into that other plane of the multiverse and wish Billy 'Arrison a happy birthday today! I'm sure he'd appreciate it.
