A moot point

I just got this I-can't-believe-it's-August-and-summer-is-rolling-to-a-close mood. Which is a completely pointless mood because for the first time in, what, 22 years, there is absolutely nothing changing in my life between August and September! I mean that doesn't normally change from day to day. There is no back-to-school to look forward to or dread (I can't imagine I'm going to find another school job in the next, what, two weeks? Unless somebody quits at the last minute, but that's usually a bad sign). I am just continuing museum-ing, and I suppose it will get less busy once school starts, but otherwise will go on the same; and Jason isn't doing anything semester-based either, so what is completely the point about pondering August????

I miss Angie. She is supposedly coming home this week, but I haven't heard any details yet.

Less busy, ahhhh...wait, I won't be there on the weekdays anyway, so never mind that happiness....
