Real milestones

Okay, I might have been joking yesterday about the advancedness of my seriously advanced baby, but today he hit a genuine milestone that cannot be denied about a month earlier than average: he flipped over. Belly to back. He's been flipping onto his side from his back already so I imagine he'll get the whole way onto his belly from that direction soon too, if he desires to, but he seems to hate being flat on his belly which is probably why he flipped over in the first place. He's so strong-- he was doing push-ups on my chest right after birth, and is gradually getting more and more control of his head. Either I did some really good eating over the past nine months or he's got Bethany's gymnast genes.

He finally fell asleep. I was going to take him for a walk, but since he hasn't slept since this morning I figure I better just let him sleep awhile longer.
