I saw someone describe the swabbing as trying to get it all the way up to your gray matter. In any case, sorry you're dealing with this. It truly is indicative, though, of how it's not being handled well in the U.S. We will never know the true numbers on this. And there are clearly tons of people who just don't know that they have it who are spreading it around. Even if we're trying to stay home as much as possible, someone who is asymptomatic could run out for milk and there you go.
All the articles I've read about South Korea's response make me long for a competent federal government. My governor is doing a pretty good job, but he's still also putting his focus on NYC when my county of about 1 million people only had 450 tests and have officially run out now. Everyone needs more resources.
