I agree. In a way, we all tend to get caught up in the tiny frantic bits of Christmas. "Do we have enough forks? Did we remember to bake cookies for all the neighbors? Do we have tinsel, that cranberry sauce your mother likes, how much candy HAVE those kids eaten?" We run around frantically, trying to make everything perfect...when in reality, it IS already perfect. We have this refusal to accept simplicity for perfection, though.
