It is strange that a book supposedly as classic as The Wolves of Willoughby Chase is should have been SO HARD TO ACTUALLY TRACK DOWN! By TWO of us in two entirely different places!
The Queen's Thief books definitely do get better as they go along. Definitely worth sticking with. I do get iffy at the thought of reading a series I have to catch up with-- it's like, you're not just adding ONE book I have to read to my endless list of books I have to read, you're adding SEVEN, how fair is that? *melodramatic sigh* So terrible.
The only other Raskin I have even SEEN is Figgs and Phantoms, but I haven't read that yet either, so I can't judge. Probably will read it soon though-- going to check out a huge pile of books from our library so we don't have to pack them when the library moves this next month or so (yesterday I packed the Biography section up. Ran out of boxes and space for boxes!)
I totally had people check out Interrupting Chicken the other week ENTIRELY BECAUSE of the Interrupting Cow joke!
