I have many interesting topics I want to write about, but whenever I get a moment to write, I can't figure out which of those topics I actually want to write about RIGHT NOW.
Snowing again-- got to the library an hour late because J was stuck in traffic getting home, but we've had exactly 4 people here, 3 if you count the couple as one person, 5 if you count the person who works here and just stopped in to get her purse, since I got here. Is it bad that I come to work and feel like I have the evening off? Ah, motherhood.
More topics I've thought of writing about:
How I used to be so into horror books as a young teen and now I can't stomach anything Not Funny.
Why I hate the Us vs Them mentality in politics, consider myself if not a Proper Independent then Definitely Not an Anything Else, and think Jason is becoming brainwashed by conservative radio.
Romance vs. Sex vs. the complete lack of either in fiction (including non-print media as well), and why I seem to be an asexual freak but don't mind if nobody else does.
A Facebook friend suggested I write about my favorite old and seldom-used words and why they should be revived, but I couldn't think of any particular words, so I thought I might write a post on vocabulary in general. Also, I like watching Word Girl on PBS, so it's appropriate.
So add those on to my last list of stuff I've considered posting about, and eventually I'll perhaps get to ANY of them.
I'll write about my new job duties when I start them, which will probably be this week if my babysitters don't crap out on me with the new snow. I've done some stuff (some tonight even), but not on the record yet.
