Update

Sammy's got a tooth just broke gum this morning. Can't really SEE it yet, so I can't take a picture for you. But it's definitely popped. I wonder if this accounts for his Really Difficult Time Going to Sleep over the past few days. Probably not entirely.

I had my first official evening as The Librarian this evening. There was me and a teen volunteer. No visitors came. I cataloged a big stack of books. The volunteer helped me fix barcodes for about ten minutes (for some reason the barcode stickers on the books had numbers that already belonged to completely different books, so we had to make up new numbers), then ran out of that, so I told him he could go make sure the connections were working in the computer room. Ie, go play on the computer. Now THAT'S a way to get community service hours. I also must say it's a good way to make a living, even though I WAS doing work the whole time. I like cataloging though, even though it's mostly data entry and could get tedious if you let it. But since it's about books, you get to look at the books as you go along, too. Anyway, so I wonder if we'll ever get visitors. I hope so, because if it does become popular then they might hire someone permanently.
