Jan. 15th, 2007 08:11 amSo... our heater chose the sunday before a holiday before the weather actually plans to get and stay wintery to break of course. The heater itself is broken-- the gas is fine, and we still have hot water. And two space heaters. It's cold if you're not in the rooms with the space heaters. J's dad is getting a part and going to try to fix it today sometime, but if that doesn't work we'll have to call somebody tomorrow, and since J is still on day shift it will have to be me who stays home to call someone and let them in and hope I know what they're talking about when they say what needs to be done! But today I have work, and it will be a busy day because there is no school AND it is raining, which is just a bad combination, so I hope I've got the energy to make it (good news is, we had a lot of people working monday LAST week, maybe they'll be back! ...but I know a few of them were only here over college break and are gone again). I've got a nice support belt in place so I might not hurt TOO bad by the end of the day.... But if I have to stay home for the heater guy tomorrow that might be fine because I might need to stay home just to recover!
Update Edit: JUST in case you were concerned, which apparently you were not, Dad-in-Law successfully fixed the heater today, so we neither have to pay to have it fixed nor fail to get paid to wait for someone to show up to fix it. Go Dad W!
