I dreamt so much last night but I was too tired to grab my paper journal when I first woke up today so now that I'm up I might as well just type what I remember here (that will make finally typing it up into Dream Book Vol 2 all that faster too)...

The first dream I kept dreaming about weddings, probably because Molly's shower is on Saturday and I'm going shopping for it today, but the first wedding was Melanie's and it was happening on the basketball court in New Alex, which had somehow grown an interesting marsh on the edge of it by the picnic tables toward the tennis court, but the tennis court was being built on by a group of dwarves (fantasy-kingdom type dwarves, not just short people) who were building a fortress, although they were building it out of wood which isn't a very dwarvish thing come to think of it, and then I went home because I had more weddings to get ready for, in fact I was to be a bridesmaid in both of them, which was odd because I didn't really know the girls getting married; the one girl we were sitting at a sort of shower telling the guests how we know the bride, and I said, "I don't actually know the bride at all, I just know the groom," who I got the impression was John Kubik. And I had a very interesting but relatively simple pink and yellow and peach dress, which turned out to precisely match the actual bridesmaids dresses so I didn't have to buy a new one. And then I happened to be wearing a blue-and-turquoise swirly dress (in the kitchen of the New Alex house) when my brother came up to me with a package and said, "Here, that other girl whose wedding you're in dropped this off for you," and there was a tag on it that said "from Marique" and I thought "Who? Maybe Marieke?" and thought that that would probably make more sense than someone I didn't know entirely but was still a bit odd, especially since she doesn't even work at the museum anymore; but I opened it and it was the official wedding party hairclip which was a sort of starburst of ribbons in the EXACT shade of blue and turquoise that I was already wearing, so once again I realized that I would not actually have to buy a new bridesmaid dress. But then it was the night before MY wedding, and of course that meant it was Christmas time and the house (still my parents' house) was all decorated and everyone had come for the rehearsal, which was going to happen right in the living room. "Well what will we do while we're waiting?" said someone, I think Mom Weir, and my dad said "We'll EAT!" and he brought out this tray of soups and funny hors d'oerves. And everyone sat at the dining room table and at the same time tried to bite into this one thing that was so hard that like five people cracked their teeth, including me! My front tooth broke completely off. And everyone was sitting there all annoyed because their teeth were broken and especially mine because it was MY wedding the next day, and I said "Why are you just SITTING there, we have to get to the dentist's to get this fixed!" and I jumped up to put the tooth in a glass of milk, which in real life supposedly is first aid for keeping a tooth alive until it can be replaced. And my mouth was bleeding and hurt, but I looked in the mirror, and to my surprise-- well, in real life have you noticed that my front teeth are crooked? The one is pushed out because of some bridgework behind it and that makes the other look really long. But to my surprise because that tooth had broken off, NOW my teeth looked perfectly normal, aside from the blood! (Although in real life it's the OPPOSITE tooth from the one that broke that's longer). And then I woke up and got up to go to the bathroom and went back to bed and kept dreaming...
Then we were on vacation, the whole family and some guy who supposedly worked with my dad, and grandpap was there but I wasn't sure if we were visiting Missouri or he was actually travelling with us, it was a little of both, and there was this restaurant everyone went to and they brought out a slice of cake for dessert and everyone ate the one slice of cake, and then it happened a second time (or it only happened once and I just REMEMBER it happening the first time, that's the screwed up thing about dreams) and I got there toward the end and there was just one bite of cake left and I said "Is that all you left me??" and I said it in a joking tone but everyone else was kind of stern and said "Well there WAS just one slice for 32 people, what do you expect?" and I said, kinda hurt because they thought I wasn't joking "Well LAST time there was only one slice for 32 people too, and everyone had plenty...." And then we all got in this horrible run-down Winnebago we'd rented and set off again, and there were several good seats that had been inexplicably blocked off by wire shelves, I thought something had to be done about that, and Jason was saying something about wanting to go see "that other big house" before we left that town, and somehow we ended up at the McCauleys', and THEN
...it turned out to be a college dorm, and people were moving in: there were a bunch of people I don't know but a lot of actual college people and a bunch of museum people there (including Sherian, who is in her fifties, but that doesn't seem to matter in dream college dorms), and [livejournal.com profile] madmadammim got into a huge yelling match with some other girl and that caused some commotion for awhile, but then I looked in this one room that I THOUGHT was a dorm room and saw that there was FOOD, as apparently they'd put a mini dining hall in the dorm, and there was a buffet, and the chef guy was standing there very snootily saying, "It's buffet dining, it's the very latest thing," and serving out, well there were some cheese casseroles and green beans and a wide variety of creamy fruit salads that were really bordering on Trifle and looked absolutely fab, and I got a big tray and went to sit with a bunch of college and museum people, where [livejournal.com profile] rockonliz and the real Marieke (I thought about telling her that I'd dreamt about her in the last dream but didn't get around to it) were deeply discussing skin care. And then these mystic people from another dimension were hanging out too. And I found myself in possession of something called a "roob," which was a bit like a very small dog and also a bit like a little girl and also had a tendency to turn into a moving-whichever-way-you-choose easy chair, and it was a very hyperactive thing that kept jumping and running around but always came back to me, and one of the mystic ladies said that was how I knew it belonged Truly to me then, and Lois Winslow was giving a tour and she came up to me sitting in my roob chair and told the people "and now THIS is the most comfortable chair you will ever sit in: the Roob." And there was something very deep and mystic going on with the mystic people from another dimension, but I don't remember what, except there were some interesting creatures that looked like they were made of, like, soft colored glass, that had been trapped in bubbles for their own protection, and then somebody was saying, "Wait, don't put them over THERE, we need a SAFE way to bring the kids that are born in," and we were walking off to these row houses that were like huge mansions inside and I got the impression that EVERYONE lived there, and we were going to get gas at a gas station (although we didn't actually have a car at this point), and this lady was talking to my brother like he was four, and my mom's like, "gotta go," and we headed off and I said "Where are we going? I thought we were going to get gas" and mom said, "No, we're going to pick up the pizza," and we went into this corner pizzaria that once again everyone in the world was in, including the rest of the family so I was thinking, "wait a minute, why do WE have to pick up the pizza if everyone is there already?" and they'd just brought out this amazing looking loaded pizza, it was a Pizza-with-Everything, and everyone was just drooling over it (though not literally), and that's when I woke up for good.

I don't get why it's snowing on the "hungry" icon. Ah well, time for breakfast.

So I just somehow deposited Jason's paycheck onto my PSECU credit card instead of into our joint account at National City that we are paying all the bills with. Luckily I was AT the National City at the time and they sorted it out so that I then used the credit card for a cash advance that I could then put in the National City account; and then I called PSECU and they were very helpful and assured me that the money was indeed deposited and the cash advance was indeed taken out but they haven't gone through the whole way but when they do I'm supposed to call back and have them sort it out because otherwise I will have to pay more interest if I try to do it myself...? Anyway, I THINK I sorted it out, but at least we didn't LOSE the money entirely, so that's a good thing....
