Oh most definitely! I have heard that she's done Star Trek (and Star WARS too) novels; the Young Wizards series has a bit more of a sci-fi bent to it than most fantasy too. It's actually similar to what Madeleine L'Engle did in her Time Quartet, mixing science with mythology and Big Questions-- I guess Science Fantasy is the proper name for it. Heh, I never thought to connect it to Madeleine L'Engle until just now, but there IS something similar about it....
