Or maybe I could do something productive

Since the book project is nearly over (right now I'm waiting for Lois's edits, then we're waiting for illustrations and pictures and articles, then I just have to put that stuff together), I look at my friends page and think I need to put some communities back on it. The entries at the bottom are a week old. And people don't comment enough to people's entries so there aren't even lots of new comments to read. So it's getting kind of dull. Not that the entries that ARE there aren't interesting, mind you! But I don't know if I want to add ALL those communities back. And maybe I need some new. Anyone recommend any communities about topics I might like where the people:
A) are not idiots;
B) are not moms who think their ways are best and anyone who disagrees is a child abuser;
C) do not use too much, whaddyacallit, netspeak. oR tAlK lIkE tHiS;
D) do not think John Lennon singlehandedly wrote all the Beatles songs and also saved the world;
E) agree that B), C), and D) probably fall under A), but it's good to be clear about such things;
? Because technically that was all a question.

Or maybe I just need more friends.

Friends or people who aren't idiots? ;)

Hopefully they'd be one and the same. ;)

I've found most communities, you'll find your idiots.

www.constantchatter.com can get a bit preachy in the parenting section, but it's a great board in the fact that people:
a) DoN't TYpe LiKe Th1s.
b) Use punctuation.
c) Use complete sentences
d) etc, etc, etc.

I also like it since it has a wide range of topics. Sometimes I feel like yapping about diapers, and sometimes, I want to talk something more adult - like politics. And, I can do that all on one board. :)
