3. I know what they mean about seeing things in "points," because I admit to sometimes avoiding healthy-yet-pointsy options in order to fit in more junk food. On the other hand I think the recently revamped points system is designed with a little of that in mind, because fruits and vegetables are now points-free so you can EAT AS MANY AS YOU WANT... and to be honest I think this may be the key to my FEELING healthier. When the kids were little I made more of an effort to split lots of good fruit with them, but as they got older and started eating entire peaches, etc, on their own, I started "saving" fruit for them, skipping it for me; and once Maddie got into first grade I wasn't eating lunch with them anymore, so I got out of a lot of that must-have-something-balanced habit for lunch. And the Sudden Blimping does correlate with that time period. Just goes to show, Fresh Produce Does a Body Good.
