Gosh, The Last Battle does seem eerily prophetic, doesn't it? I guess it's an inherent human failing to tend toward dictatorship when things are going wrong. Because, really, a benevolent dictatorship is the most efficient kind of government. Too bad it's an oxymoron.
Glad to see Ian & Co are still in play. I just reread the first chapter, and that is an awesome first chapter, I must say. I think you are quite right that over-the-top world domination plots have a lot more relevance these days!
