Hah, I did guess it was you, figuring a religious historian at a museum reading my blog would more likely be someone I knew than a random religious historian who just happened to stumble on it! :D
You know how shy I can be in person. When I write, even on the Internet for theoretically anyone to see, I'm much braver about speaking my mind, and I think, weirdly, it's BECAUSE I see it as something like an article, as opposed to just talking to my friends. But it IS mostly my friends who read this, or people who know me in a friendly capacity online at least-- it's THERE for the general public, but I guess I AM speaking more directly. So I guess speaking up, here at least, CAN make a bit of a difference.
