This really hits home today. I've been feeling more apathetic and useless than usual lately, despite working my ass off trying to take care of everyone. Nothing seems to make a difference, and I don't know why I bother when no one cares or even notices. And it's my birthday tomorrow, which Bruce apparently just thought of today because he asked me if there was anything I wanted. Sigh. What I want is someone to act like I'm worth making a fuss over one damn day a year.
