Diana Wynne Jones is truly a wonderful writer and there will never be another author like her. But I want to say I loved reading this blog and I feel a lot like you do. At first I felt silly for being so upset over someone passing I didn't even know. I cried when I read she passed. I felt like I had lost someone who was a best friend.
It was because of Diana that I started writing again, it was because of her I started to believe in myself again. And I wish I could write like her, but I can't and I realize that's okay. My writing is unique too.
I've only been a fan for two years, but in that two years I have been so inspired by her. I will miss her.
