13. Would you cry for me if I died? I cry for the people left behind, not the person who dies. I rejoice for them.

I remember when I was six years old having my first real experience with death, and thinking about this concept. Trying to figure out, "Why, if everyone says Annie is an angel in Heaven now, why are they sad?" and gradually figuring out that it wasn't her everyone was sad for at all. Although it's hard for a kid to grasp that grown-ups can hurt real bad and need comforting sometimes, too.

I think I will make that the Thing I like about you that I will say, too. I like your faith and the way you incorporate it into your life and the way you discuss it freely too-- so many people won't for fear that they're, like, pushing religion on people or whatnot, but more people out to just let it out, whatever it is they're believing and thinking about, without caring what it sounds like to anyone else.
